Our Teachers
Megan Dudley is a costume designer for theatre, film and dance productions. She holds a B.F.A. from Pratt Institute in Fashion design and Art History, and a M.F.A. from Brooklyn College in Costume Design. She was the inaugural winner of the Catherine Rebecca Cunningham Excellence in Costume Design Award in 2008. A Tennessee native, Megan has been living and designing in NY for the past eight years.

Jennifa Crowell is a working NY artist. She was born in London England, lived in Jamaica for a few years as a small child, and immigrated to the USA in 1972. Her self expression through visual arts is rooted in her multi-cultural psyche. She holds a B.F.A. of Fine Arts from the Fashion Institute of Technology. She has studied a variety of artistic mediums like silk screening,collage, painting on silk and quilting. As well as costume design and textile design. Jeninifa spent a decade as a lingerie designer in NYC.
Ruth Alawode is a native of West Africa, where she received her teaching degree from the Collge of Education. She also holds a B.S. in Home  Economic from Bendel State Unversity. She attended the London College of Fashion and the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC. She has extensive experience as a classroom teacher and lecturer of pattern drafting, clothing construction, merchandising, soft furnishings and accessories. She is a former owner/director of a fashion training school. As well as the designer of an original clothing line that supplied to hotels throughout her country
Julia Knox, who recently came to New York from England, studied fashion, textiles and costume in the historic city of Bath before joining the fashion industry in London. After a number of years working for Monsoon in England and Australia she went on to design her own collections of maternity wear, knitwear and jewelry. Now as a textile artist she develops designs and patterns using a large variety of materials.
