Little Dresses for Africa is a non-profit Christian organization whose mission is to provide relief to children throughout the Continent of Africa and beyond. The Esaie Couture Design School community along with others across the world, makes little dresses out of pillow cases or other simple patterns to donate and send to Africa.
Be Good to the Children is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing services for children affected by the 2010 earthquake in Haiti, where nearly 40 percent of the population is under the age of 14. They aim to rebuild Haiti into a strong nation with a foundation of happy, healthy and educated youths. Esaie Couture Design School supports their efforts.
The purpose of NegusWorld ("Negus" meaning King and "Nigist" meaning queen) is to help our young people (young kings and queens) reach their full potential, growing up with humanitarian values to ultimately make this earth more peaceful. Esaie Couture Design School/Tres Chic After School students designed and produced the logo and Tshirts for the Negus World Party video, benefiting Brazilian youth.
Corporate Partnerships
Acustom Apparel uses innovative digital technologies to craft custom clothing. Esaie Couture Design School conducted fitting session training with their SoHo store staff.
Verizon is one of the largest communication technology companies in the world. Esaie Couture Design School conducts dressmaking classes as a creative outlet for some of their employees.
Borough of Manhattan Community College is an international college of the City University of New York, hosting students from over 155 countries. Esaie Couture Design School conducted classes with some of their continuing education students.
The mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) is to create, find and support programs that directly improve the health and wellbeing of children. The Esaie Couture Design School community handcrafts and donates pillowcases for distribution to hospitalized children and their families.
