You want to enter the competitive fashion industry? It takes hard work, creativity, and passion to be a fashion designer (all the things you probably already have within you). But you can break into this field much more quickly and easily with the guidance of our courses and experienced instructors. Designers must have a strong sense of the esthetic—an eye for color and detail, a sense of balance and proportion, and an appreciation for beauty. And, sketching ability remains an important advantage in fashion design (even with the advancement of technology). A good portfolio—a collection of a person's best work—often is the deciding factor in getting an industry job, a private customer, or a store to carry your line.
This intensive 6-month course teaches the student the things they'll need to know to be successful in the industry. To land jobs in the Fashion Industry, where starting salaries can range between $50k to $100k and higher, with experience. Qualified students upon completing this course and all assignments, will receive a certificate of completion to be used as recognition of professional training in the field. And, placement assistance with leading agencies for help landing internships, temp, freelance, or permanent job positions. Or, if starting a business, receive mentorship and business advice (like where and how to get your line produced and into stores) to help you achieve fashion design success.
You could be 18 or 80 years old, it's never too early or too late to get your fashion career going!
