We'll teach you all you need to know to make a stylish (and simple) wardrobe for yourself, even as a new sewer! Learn on our sewing machines or bring your own. Get step by step instructions to make a bag, a skirt, a top and a dress in 5 days. You'll feel so accomplished as you learn to layout and cut patterns, assemble your garments, clean finish seams inside, make fit adjustments. Learn various machine sewing techniques, hand stitching, hem stitching, and more...Take all 5 days or just choose one.

Day 5 - Finishing Techniques
Skills & Techniques:
• Sewing-machine basics
• Tools and terminology
• Stitches: Regular stitch, Curved stitch, topstitch, basting
• Seam finishes: Pinked, Zig zag, Booked Seam
• Preparing, marking, and cutting fabric
• Garment construction including fitting techniques and adjustment
* Proper pressing techniques
• Various hem techniques
Course duration: 5 days, Mon-Fri 9am to 3pm (for kids 7-13yrs);
or 4:30pm to 8:30pm (for teens/adults)

Midwinter Break Session, Runs: Monday February 18th to Friday 22nd
Spring Break Session, Runs: Monday March 25th to Friday March 29th
Summer Break Session 1, Runs: Monday July 8th to Friday July 12th
Summer Break Session 2, Runs: Monday July 15th to Friday July 19th
Summer Break Session 3, Runs: Monday July 22nd to Friday July 26th
Summer Break Session 4, Runs: Monday July 29th to Fri August 2nd

Cost: $125, for each individual day
Fabric and Supplies: Student should bring fabric of choice (see suggested fabric/yardage list), matching thread and #66 bobbin. All other tools and equipment will be available for use. Student could bring own portable sewing (optional)

These camps are conveniently run during school holiday vacation days, winter, spring and summer vacation breaks. Learn all the same skills and techniques as in a longer class, only you'll learn to make your wardrobe even faster. Get it all done in 5 days! Monday through Friday 9am to 3pm (for kids 7-13yrs) or 4:30pm to 8:30pm (for adults and teens)
